Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Today, Sarkozy said that if France hadn’t raised the retirement age a few years ago, they would be in the same financial trouble as Spain, who has been hard-hit with the economic situation. Sarkozy is upping the ante in his campaign talk as the final round of the election is this Sunday and he is still behind in the polls.

I was actually in Spain over the past few days and I thought that this photo illustrated perfectly what Nicolas Sarkozy’s threat actually means to a European. This graffiti is by the great muralist and social commentator El niño de las pinturas, a Granada-based artist.
